Jungfernhof concentration camp

Jungfernhof was a makeshift concentration camp in the village of Jumpravmuiza, about 3 or 4 kilometers from Riga, near the Skirotava railroad station. The camp was in existence from December 1941 to March 1942 and served as temporary accommodations for Jews from Germany and Austria whose transport trains orginally were headed to Minsk.
